'The Vale66' 66" Cast Iron Double Ended Clawfoot Bathtub with a Faux Wood Exterior plus Drain

Product Details
A truly fabulous bathtub, perfect for your special log cabin in the mountains. We prepared the Vale with a specially developed thick compound that offers both the look and touch of wood. Each wood mark is then specially carved into the surface before coloring to give the look of a beautiful old wooden exterior tub.

Finishing
After applying the special faux wood compound, our artist lovingly carved grooves to resemble those of natural worn wood. After several layers and blending of the colors, we finished with a protective layer of clear semi-matte lacquer to protect the finish. The exterior is simple to maintain, just a wipe with a damp cloth. If the faux wood exterior is damaged during installation, we offer a very simple repair process which will easily cover any scuffs or shipping. the inside of the tub is made using hand applied enamel to the cast iron shell and as a result, slight undulations will appear on the surface and this will add to the individual character of every Penhaglion Hand Finished bathtub.
