Product Details
A stunning solid surface stone resin bathtub with a burnished brass metal bonded exterior. An exclusive, glamorous twist on straightforward solid surface bathtubs. Measuring just over 3/4" thick, our stone resin tub is not coated and is pure solid surface through and through. This makes it very easy to repair if scratched or chipped on the interior. To this beautiful egg shaped Perseus solid surface bathtub, we apply approximately 25lbs of pure molten brass before randomly hand brushing to achieve the beautiful living finish. The thickness of the brass is just over 1/16". This is a totally exclusive presentation of a solid surface bathtub from the artisans at Penhaglion, there is nothing like this anywhere else.
The burnished brass surface on the exterior will retain some tiny pinholes only visible under close up inspection, these are a natural result of the molten metal application.


Product Exterior Finish - Burnished Brass
This tub has a pure unvarnished brass coated and burnished exterior, which is a living finish. While we apply a protective clear beeswax to the tub exterior before shipping, the brass will naturally tarnish over time. Further applications of beeswax will slow any patina.
