Product Details
A beautiful French Bateau bathtub retaining the shape and base trim detail of the original French Bateau bathtubs first built in Lyon, France in the 1860's. The Nuneaton has a beautiful satin finish exterior that is only slightly reflective. While the skirt shape and base detail are decidedly 1860, the misty polish stainless steel finish allows this tub to be just as much at home in either a modern or vintage bathroom.
Finishing
The satin finish exterior is very easy to maintain and keep clean. Just a wipe with a soft cloth will remove most marks. We coat every satin finish tub with four layers of natural bees wax to prevent marking during handling. The interior of the tub is hand applied enamel. Both the tub interior and exterior are hand finished, so no surface is perfectly flat or 100% even. Each Penhaglion Hand Finished tub is one of a kind.
