'The INCHMARNOCK73' 73" Lightweight Acrylic Interior French Bateau Tub with Mixed Stainless Steel Exterior and Drain

This is a beautiful lightweight version from our most popular French Bateau bathtub range. Created for users who simply can't have a heavier cast iron tub in the desired space. We use a specially designed and produced double skin inner tub area, matched a beautifully crafted all metal outer shell.

Visually, it is almost impossible to tell the difference between the enamel surface of the cast iron tub and the surface on our lightweight tubs.
The outer shells are available in various finishes of stainless steel, brass and copper. As with all of our tubs with outer shells, our exacting standards and highly trained craftsmen ensure that there are no visible weld seam.

The inner tub area is made from two acrylic shells, molded and bonded together using limestone and resin which reduces the weight of the tub when compared to cast iron by around 200 lbs. We also leave an air gap between the acrylic shells for maximum heat retention. The underside edge of the roll top lip presents and smooth, consistent 3/4" thickness.

Finishing
Each Inchmarnock tub has a muted, burnished exterior with a contrasting mirror polished base trim, all in the same metal. The outer shell and inner tub are very easy to maintain, just a soft, lightly soapy damp cloth will remove most marks.

Just as a note, we advise clients to never use any bleach, ammonia or granular cleaning products anywhere on the tub.
