Product Details
This exquisite 'Cannes-PZ' 66" French Bateau cast iron bathtub with rivets on base is truly stunning and filled with character.
To create this fabulous polished lead free zinc finish, we bond layer after layer of metal before finishing and polishing. Many of the original cast marks are revealed, producing a beautiful one of finish for every tub. The features created present a beautiful ocean of activity, with swells, dips and waves like seen in a stormy sea.
The surface may darken very, very slowly and almost imperceptibly over the years. To protect the surface, we apply four coats of natural bees wax before shipping.

Finishing
After finishing, we protect it with an application of four coats of natural beeswax. The exterior does not rust, but will darken and deepen very slightly as it ages. If you prefer to maintain the highly polished finish forever, simply use some Mothers polish and apply and remove gently with a fiber cloth.
