'The Cannes-MZ' 66" Cast Iron French Bateau Pedestal Tub with a Pure-Metal Burnished Zinc Finish Exterior plus Drain

Product Details
This fabulous 'Cannes-MZ' 66" French Bateau cast iron bathtub with rivets on base is not only beautiful, it is filled with natural character. We take the tub as it comes out of the mold and apply several layers of thick molten zinc to the surface. This is not a painted or faux finish, it is actual metal, all the finish markings are natural from the mold. After sanding and a little finishing, we light brush the surface.

Finishing
After sanding and polishing, we protect it with an application of four coats of natural beeswax. The exterior does not rust, but will grey coloration of the zinc will darken and deepen very slightly as it ages.
